For more than three decades, Dan Fisher has specialized in helping pre-retirees and retirees, guiding them through some of the most important financial decisions of their lives. With a background in accounting and a deep knowledge of tax planning, Dan brings a practical approach to growing and preserving wealth in a way that supports his clients’ goals and reduces unnecessary tax exposure.

Dan is a fiduciary, which means his advice is always centered around what’s best for the families he serves. He holds the designations of Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) and Federal Retirement Consultant (FRC), and is an Investment Adviser Representative with Fisher Financial Group LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Taxation from Roosevelt University.

Over the years, Dan has worked with employees and retirees from AT&T, Motorola, United Airlines, American Airlines, and school districts across the region. He regularly hosts educational workshops for retirees and those nearing retirement on topics such as tax-smart planning, retirement income strategies, and protecting assets from avoidable costs. Dan has shared his insights as a guest on America’s Wealth Management Show and has contributed to local publications on retirement and tax topics.

Dan is an active member of several professional and community organizations, including the Better Business Bureau, Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, National Ethics Bureau, International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, AARP, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Outside of work, you’ll find Dan fly fishing, hiking, e-biking, traveling, hitting the gym, and, his favorite role yet: being “Papa” to his granddaughter, Naomi.
